In the latest of his secret reports, Winja Celeborn has some exclusive pre-production artwork, straight from the studios. I'll hand you over to our super top-secret undercover espionage-type operative.



Well thanks for that build up, Jim.
I was hiding in the gents toilets at the Wellington studios when who should come in but Peter Jackson and John Howe! Shifting my position, I placed my ear next to the cubicle door and overheard PJ ask JH whether he had destroyed the top-secret pre-production drawings of the Lothlorien Elven Warriors at Helm's Deep. JH said that he had disposed of them.

When they left, I followed them back to their offices. The offices were locked but, in the waste bins outside, I found one of the drawings. Here it is




Well, I don't know about you but that is exactly how I pictured them in my mind's eye. I think we can all rest easy knowing that some top-flight creative work is going into these movies.

I go now, but I will return - Namarië and sayonara!!


I have to agree, Peter Jackson is doing a great job. And so is Winja Celeborn!
