Hello mortal. You have inadvertently wandered onto the homepage of Jimcalagon the Red, last of the Melkor-spawned firedrakes of Middle-Earth. A long time ago in the Third age of the world, a legendary story of brave heroes and some rather effeminate elves came to a climax with the defeat of the Dark Lord Sauron. This story was set to paper in the twentieth century by Professor John Ronald Reuel Tolkien and it became the favourite book of that century, THE LORD OF THE RINGS.

As one of the few remaining living beings to remember the Third Age (I think the only other ones are the Queen Mother and Bob Hope), I've taken a keen interest in the new Lord Of The Rings Movies currently being filmed in New Zealand by maverick Director Peter Jackson. To bring you all the latest news and scoops, I am building a network of spies who have cunningly infiltrated themselves into positions of trust on the set. I've got some exclusive news lined up so check back here daily.

Alternatively, if you have an article, scoop or opinion, email me and you could be added to my list of ace reporters.

Don't want to be a reporter? Well you can still have your say on my fantastic messageboard. Here you will meet an assortment of Tolkien fans, many of them experts in the works of the great Professor and all of them waiting for an exciting (and often elightening) discussion.
