Something that no-one has picked up from the Internet preview trailer. Did you notice the pre-production character drawings on the wall behind Peter Jackson. I managed to zoom in on some of drawings and the results were, I think you'll agree, astonishing. This first one was labelled "Gandalf and Elrond at Imladris"

Great stuff eh? This next one's almost as good - Legolas at the Council of Elrond

After all the negative reporting, I think that we can all breathe a big sigh of relief at these pictures. Peter Jackson is definitely on the right track.
