Here's another fantastic report from NZ local spy King of the Balrogs!

Hi Jimcalagon. I've had another Lord Of The Rings sighting. I recently went into Wellington for the weekend. On a street corner, I spotted an old man in grey clothes with a long white beard. He was just sort of stumbling about, muttering to himself in a strange, unintelligible language and gesticulating at passers-by with a long stick.

Surely this could only be Sir Ian McKellar-Watt (Gandalf) himself, taking some time off from the gruelling filming schedule.

When I approached him to ask whether he had any inside news about the movie, he put his arm around my shoulder and shouted out to everyone in the street that I was his best mate. I couldn't believe my luck! I've arranged to meet him next week - he's promised me some exclusive on-set news in exchange for a bottle of Glenmorangie.

Hopefully I'll be in touch with some juicy gossip soon!
